How does stump removal and grinding work?
We use the following process:
- When you contact us via phone or online form, we’ll take down your information, including the approximate number of stumps you need removed, and schedule a time for your service.
- We’ll assess the state of your stumps to determine which exact service you need. In general, we use the less invasive method of leaving the roots in the ground to decay over time, but if the stump has exposed roots, we’ll remove the entire stump.
- We use powerful equipment to either grind down the stump so it’s level with the ground or remove the stump and roots completely. Using a stump grinder and other equipment is dangerous, which is the main reason only a professional should perform the job.
Depending on the complexity of the job, we’ll take anywhere between 15 minutes to two hours to complete the work.
